Organic Cleaning Products You Already Have in Your Home

Home cleaning requires the use of various cleaning products... or so advertisements lead you to believe. The fact is, you already have quite a lot of cleaning products in your own home, most of which you are probably familiar with. With the opening of a cabinet or a cupboard, you should immediately come across at least a few. There is always something that helps you clean and most of it is not even meant for cleaning, but brilliant housework minds have made it all easy for the next generations. Here is what you can use as home cleaners:

  • Baking Soda
Naturally, we always start with baking soda. Organic, eco-friendly, biodegradable, and abrasive – it is among the best cleaners you are keeping at home. Making soda paste with one part water and two parts soda is a solution to quite a few stain problems, and it is also a brilliant way to stifle an odour that bothers you and you want gone.
  • Vinegar
Vinegar is the yin to the soda’s yang. Or the other way around. It is also eco-friendly, but it has acidic properties, meaning that it aggressively eats through the stain instead of blotching it out. This causes problems for some surfaces, but it is mostly safe to use. A huge benefit over the use of soda is that it also provides a disinfectant effect.
  • Lemon Juice
Containing citric acid, lemon juice also helps with house cleaning in a slightly aggressive way, but not as thorough. What it excels at is its disinfecting effect, as well as the freshness it leaves behind. Probably among the best ways to kill an odour. And you can even use it straight from the lemon, just by cutting it in half!
  • Salt
Why yes, it can be a nice cleaner as well. Especially when you are cleaning dishes. Sprinkle salt over any tough element that your sponge can’t seem to get out and leave the salt to degrade. Then clean again with hot water and voila! A clean dish.

With these home cleaners you will have no difficulty keeping the house clean with little to no need for spending money on cleaning products and tools. You simply need them, water, and something to scrub stains with. It is often that simple.
